South Newton Township, along with the assistance of Cumberland County, are in the beginning stages of a several month process of doing a Comprehensive Plan for the township. What is a Comprehensive Plan? It is an all-inclusive approach to analyzing and evaluating the future growth of the township. The township would like to extend an invitation to our residents to join us for our monthly comprehensive plan meetings. They are held at the township building the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 8 am. These meeting are currently scheduled to occur through September (we may add more if needed).
