South Newton Township Trick or treat policy. Trick or treat will be the evening of the 31st of October each year, unless the 31st falls on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. In which case, trick or treat night will be held on the Thursday evening prior. Trick or treat hours will be observed from 6 – 8 pm, regardless of the day.
🎃 Trick-or-Treat Safety Reminder! 👻
For everyone’s safety, children are encouraged to use sidewalks whenever possible and remain with a responsible adult or chaperone while trick-or-treating. South Newton Township has requested a police presence during trick-or-treat hours, and flashing warning signs will be placed at both ends of Main Street to remind motorists to slow down and watch carefully for children and families.
Drivers are asked to use extra caution, slow down, and stay alert as our community’s little ghosts and goblins make their way from house to house. Let’s work together to make Trick-or-Treat a safe, fun, and enjoyable evening for everyone!
